Needed Documantation for a Jacksonville
Foreign National Mortgage
When applying for a Miami home loan as a foreign national,
you may have to show the following documentation:
1- Work or income verification - If you own your
business, you need to have a letter from your accountant
that indicates your earnings for the past two years. The
letter must be written in the official paper of the
accounting firm with an address and telephone number.
2- Proof of assets- A letter from your bank showing the
account numbers, when were they opened, the actual balance
and the average balance for the last two months. As with
the income verification, the information must be submitted
in the bank’s official paper with an address and telephone
number.
3- Banking reference letter - In addition to the the
proof of assets, the bank must send a letter indicating
that the applicant is a person known for his good business
reputation and that he/she is a good client.
4- A 6 month reserve (principal, interest, taxes and
insurance) in an American bank.
5- A copy of passport
